Increased activities of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton in preventing and solving robberies

The MUP of Sarajevo Canton is undertaking activities to prevent and solve robberies, confirmed for the BH news agency Patria by Irfan Nefić, spokesperson of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton.

Namely, police officers are visiting smaller shops and shopping centers, thereby reducing thieves' chances for robberies and attacks, and they are abandoning robberies. This is the result of the increased number of robberies that have been occurring recently in Sarajevo.

Incidentally, yesterday in Sarajevo, two robberies of a store and a pharmacy were carried out by unknown persons, and a certain amount of money was stolen. A robbery was also committed against one person whose jacket with personal documents was stolen.

Members of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton are intensively searching for the perpetrators, while yesterday three persons were deprived of their liberty for aggravated theft, writes Patria.
