
(Patria) - Increased traffic frequency on most routes and border crossings. BIHAMK advises drivers traveling longer distances to take frequent breaks, especially during the hottest part of the day.
Be well-rested when you get behind the wheel and maintain a safe distance between vehicles. An appeal is also made to other traffic participants to respect traffic regulations.
On the Rogatica-Ustiprača main road, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, while traffic for vehicles over 30 tons is suspended.
Rehabilitation works are ongoing on the main roads: Vitez-Travnik, Kladanj-Vlasenica, Prozor-Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, Foča-Ustikolina, Dobro Polje-Miljevina, Bijeljina-Rača, and Čevljanovići-Nišići.
At border crossings: Izačić, Velika Kladuša, Gradina, Bosanska Gradiška, Doljani, and Deleuša, there is increased vehicle frequency at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina. At other border crossings, vehicle traffic is increased, but waiting times are up to 30 minutes.
Until the end of August, the Krstac border crossing (on the Gacko-Nikšić road) is open for passenger traffic.
Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses may use the Šepak border crossing.
