Increased Traffic Frequency, Adjust Driving to Road Conditions

(Patria) - The start of the work week brings increased traffic frequency, especially in narrower urban areas. The road surface is mostly wet, and due to frequent landslides, we advise special caution on the following sections: Turbe-Banja Luka, Crna Rijeka-Mrkonjić Grad, Sarajevo-Foča-Šćepan Polje, and Višegrad-Ustiprača-Rogatica. We also warn of reduced visibility due to fog in valleys and along river courses. Drive carefully and obey all traffic regulations.

Due to road damage on the M-17 highway, section Žepče–Maglaj (Ozimica location), at the junction with the future highway interchange, traffic is moving slowly. Due to the high frequency of vehicles on this section, occasional delays and longer waiting times are possible.

Works are also underway on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as on the highways: Jablanica-Blidinje (on the Jablanica-Kosne Luke section), Zenica-Doboj (on the Donja Vraca-Liješnica section), Tuzla-Orašje (Cerik), Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci settlement), Semizovac-Olovo, Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci), Mostar-Čitluk (at the entrance to Čitluk), and Jajce-Crna Rijeka.

Due to necessary works, traffic is suspended on the regional road Zavidovići-Kamenica and redirected to alternative routes.

Due to the transport of oversized cargo, drivers of heavy motor vehicles are requested not to use the Kupres-Šuica-Tomislavgrad-Kamensko route between 07:00 and 10:00 AM, but to use the Kamensko-Livno-Šuica-Kupres route instead.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are no longer than 30 minutes.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 10:00 AM and from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10:00 PM and 06:00 AM).
