Increased traffic in urban areas, fog in valleys and along river courses

(Patria) - The morning is cool, with fog on roads in valleys and along river courses, so driving should be adjusted to the conditions on the road. Traffic is of moderate intensity outside cities, while it is increased within urban areas. There are currently no traffic jams, but they are possible on sections where, due to works and current traffic changes, traffic is moving slowly.

Due to works on laying the final asphalt layer, traffic is suspended on the main road Srbac-Derventa. Vehicles are being redirected to the road route Srbac-Prnjavor-Derventa. (works started on 27.10.2025.)

Rehabilitation of a landslide is underway at the location Sijeračke stijene on the main road Dobro Polje-Miljevina, where from 08:00 to 17:00 hours there are suspensions lasting up to 45 minutes.

Works are also ongoing on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo north, as well as on main roads: Žepče–Maglaj (location Ozimica), Konjic-Jablanica, Bileća-Trebinje (at the Žudojevići site), Zavidovići-Vozuća (in the place Krivaja), Klašnice-Banja Luka, Jablanica-Blidinje (on the Jablanica-Kosne Luke section), Jablanica-Prozor (settlement Mirci), Semizovac-Olovo, Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci), Mostar-Čitluk (at the entrance to Čitluk), Jajce-Crna Rijeka, as well as at the entrance to Neum.

Due to a landslide on the regional road Vrbaška-Mrakovica in the place Vučjak, traffic is alternating, using one lane.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are no longer than 30 minutes.

Due to passenger registration under the new system of entry and exit to European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waiting times are possible at border crossings.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Freight vehicles can use the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 hours and from 22:00 to 06:00 hours (on weekends they can cross in the period from 22:00 to 06:00 hours).

We remind drivers that from November 1st, possession of winter equipment is mandatory on roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
