Increased vehicle traffic, caution due to roadworks

(Patria) - In the north and northwest, the road surface is wet or damp due to rain, while in other regions driving conditions are currently favorable. Vehicle traffic is increased on roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as at certain border crossings. Long waits are reported at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Doljani, Bijača, Deleuša and Bosanska Gradiška, and at the Zupci border crossing in both directions. At other border crossings, waits are currently no longer than 30 minutes.

Numerous sections have ongoing roadworks, so we recommend drivers plan their trips in accordance with expected delays.

Slower traffic due to roadworks during the day is occurring on the main roads: Bihać-Kamenica, Vitez-Travnik (Nova Bila), Kiseljak-Busovača and Ripač-Dubovsko, as well as at the entrances to Bugojno (from the direction of Rostovo), Kladanj (from the direction of Olovo) and Hadžići.

Due to road subsidence at the entrance to Vinac from the direction of Donji Vakuf (M-5/16 Donji Vakuf-Jajce), only one lane is in operation, and the speed limit is 20 km/h.

On the section of the regional road from the town of Ravno towards the main road Ljubinje-Trebinje (M-6), traffic is suspended and diverted to alternative routes.

Due to rehabilitation works, the bridge at the entrance to Nemila (connecting M-17 with R-473) is closed, and vehicles are using the intersection in Topčić Polje.

We advise more cautious driving and avoiding risky overtaking.
