The people of Maglaj gave an emotional welcome to their fellow citizen Eldar Memišević, a member of the Qatar national handball team who won a silver medal at the World Championship.
For Eldar, it was a big surprise and he could not hide his emotions and tears, reports the Patria news agency.
- Thank you to my parents for their support and to my club. This medal is also deserved by this city and all of you who came tonight to welcome me - said a visibly excited Eldar to his fellow citizens.
