See where traffic has been suspended

Due to strong winds creating snowdrifts and reducing visibility to less than 5 meters, traffic has been completely suspended on the main roads Livno-Šuica-Kupres, Šuica-Tomislavgrad-Posušje, and Priluka-Glamoč-Mlinište, as well as on the regional roads Mokronoge-Ravno, Mihalji-Blidinje, and Kupres-Šipovo, BIHAMK announced, reports Patria News Agency.

Snowdrifts are hindering traffic on the main roads Ripač-Bosanski Petrovac and Bosanski Petrovac-Oštrelj-Drvar. Trucks with trailers and semi-trailers cannot travel on the section of the main road M-19 Vlasenica-Han Pijesak (over the Han Pogled pass), as well as on the section M-19.3 Sokolac-Rogatica. We continue to warn about all sections in higher mountain areas, where the use of chains is mandatory for trucks.

Road crews are on the ground and carrying out all necessary interventions, but the ongoing snowfall, as well as the occasional strong wind, are hindering their work. We advise drivers not to travel unless absolutely necessary, and if they do travel, to drive with maximum caution and use winter equipment.

On the A1 highway, on the Zenica-Kakanj section, there is compacted snow on the road, while the road on the Kakanj-Tarčin section is predominantly wet. On the A-1 Zvirovići-Bijača section, the road is wet in places.

There are no long delays at border crossings this morning. Due to snowdrifts, traffic is interrupted on the main road Šćepan Polje-Plužine (Montenegro area), so traffic at the Hum-Šćepan Polje border crossing is currently interrupted.
