Underground garage near the City Hall will have 155 parking spaces

The first public underground garage in the Old Town will be built in Avdage Šahinagića Street, on the space located across from the City Hall. The plot where it will be built has an area of about 3,500 square meters, and as the underground garage will have two levels, the total usable area will be about 5,000 square meters (4,958.10 m2). The usable area of the underground garage on level -1 will be 2,467.30 m2, and on level -2 2,490.80 m2. A public toilet will be built on the first level. According to the implementation project, the underground garage will have two levels with 155 parking spaces, and the dimensions of the facility will be 54.30x48.60, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The above-ground part is conceived as a multi-purpose square where public events will be held. A park with green areas and a children's playground will be built on the square. The square will be paved and a stage for holding cultural and entertainment events will be set up on it, throughout the year. Fountains will also be installed on the square, which will be the largest in the Sarajevo Canton by area. The implementation project for the construction of the underground garage in Avdage Šahinagića Street was done by the company "Coning" d.o.o. from Sarajevo.

The value of the project is approx. six million convertible marks.
