Support of the BiH community from Munich for Denis Bećirović

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Community of Bosnian-Herzegovinian Associations and Citizens in Bavaria, Saxony, and Thuringia in Germany (Community BiH Munich) sent a letter of support for Denis Bećirović's candidacy for a member of the Presidency of BiH. This is part of the support Bećirović is receiving from the BiH diaspora, which the general public will be informed about in the coming period. We are publishing the letter from Germany in its entirety.

- On behalf of the Community of Bosnian-Herzegovinian Associations and Citizens in Bavaria, Saxony, and Thuringia in the Federal Republic of Germany (ZAJEDNICA BIH MINHEN), we hereby express our satisfaction with the proposal that Prof. Dr. Denis Bećirović be a candidate for a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and give our full support for him to be elected to the BiH Presidency.

Official policies in BiH, instead of representing and working for the people and the state, often work only for the interests of their parties, their interest groups, and hold our homeland BiH hostage in the 21st century, from which people leave every day.

Denis Bećirović is a proven patriot of BiH. Whenever he had the opportunity, Denis Bećirović maintained close ties with associations of our citizens in the diaspora, met with them both in the country as a member of parliament, a member of the Collegium, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, as well as on official trips. In addition, the diaspora cannot forget his help during the Congress of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Diaspora in Sarajevo. Whenever needed.

What particularly commits us to give our full support to his endeavor to become a member of the BiH Presidency from the Bosniak people is his persistent insistence that the problems of the diaspora be discussed in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, that our country finally establish a sincere, true bridge and relationship with more than two million of its citizens living around the world, that it regulate the field of supplementary education for children in the diaspora, which is its legal obligation, as well as other demands of the diaspora that wishes to remain connected to its homeland.

BiH should be a mother, not a stepmother, to all its citizens - the letter of support states.
