Raising tensions benefits Dodik

The memorial cross at Zlatište is a clear pre-election provocation by Milorad Dodik which, I am sure, will pass after the October elections. It is a mockery of the victims of besieged Sarajevo, but also of Serbs who perished in the war. One should not pay too much attention, as this cross distracts us from what is most important: what we eat and how we live. Therefore, the reaction should only be verbal and humane.  

The citizens of Sarajevo, as well as Bosnians and Herzegovinians, have shown many times that they are united, especially after this year's floods, and they should be so in this case as well. This cross is essentially not a memorial, but a base, miserable, and pathetic provocation. Professor Komšić calls on all Sarajevans to observe this in a dignified and humane manner, because raising tensions benefits Milorad Dodik, it was announced from the office of the Mayor of Sarajevo, Ivo Komšić, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
