School supplies distributed to children from Bjelave Children's Home

Members of the Association „Veliko srce“ together with the Chairman of the Centar Municipal Council Nedžad Ajnadžić, on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, visited the premises of the Public Institution „Home for Children without Parental Care Bjelave“ and on that occasion, ahead of the new school year, distributed packages with school supplies and bags to the residents of this institution, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- This is not the first humanitarian action carried out by the Association „Veliko srce“ in cooperation with the Centar Municipality. As a socially responsible local community, within this project we found socially responsible companies that do not insist on their name being publicly presented, and we jointly carried out the action of collecting and distributing 80 packages of school supplies, notebooks and backpacks. I hope that this move will encourage these young people to strive for the best possible knowledge in the world of science. We are proud of such actions and will continue to support projects and companies that wish to contribute to the development of the social community in this way - said Chairman Ajnadžić after today's distribution of school supplies and bags.

Sanela Ferhatović, president of the Association „Veliko srce“, stated that today's donation was intended for primary school students, secondary school students, and several students from the Bjelave Home.

- Our association was founded five months ago and so far, in cooperation with the Chairman of the Centar Municipal Council Dr. Nedžad Ajnadžić, we have implemented several major projects, where we specifically donated sweet packages, groceries, technical goods on several occasions for the children from this Home... The priority in the work of our association is children and persons with disabilities - explained Sanela Ferhatović.

As a sign of gratitude for today's donation, the little ones from the Home sang a suitable composition for their guests, while the director of the Children's Home on Bjelave, Saudin Đurđević, said that the Centar Municipality has been supporting the work of this institution for years, for which he, on behalf of this Home, especially thanks them.
