Indictment filed against prosecutor Božo Mihajlović

SARAJevo, (Patria) - A prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption has filed an indictment against a prosecutor of this Prosecutor's Office, Božo Mihajlović, born in 1957.

- The accused is charged with committing the criminal offense of negligent performance of duty under Article 224 of the Criminal Code of BiH - it was announced from the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

The indictment has been forwarded to the BiH Court for confirmation.

His biography states that Mihajlović is one of the first four prosecutors elected to the BiH Prosecutor's Office by the decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH in January 2003, and he was appointed head of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption in March 2010. Prosecutor Mihajlović worked on the most complex organized crime cases within the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

He was suspended in March 2017 and is accused of the disappearance of money from several cases he worked on.
