Indictment Raised Against Three Members of Gazije

The prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes raised an indictment against Isaković Safet, aka „Džidžo“, born in 1973, Đulić Ibrahim, aka „Linđo“, born in 1968, and Porić Nisvet, born in 1972, Patria reports.

The accused are charged with, during the war and armed conflict in BiH, acting as commander (Isaković) and members of the IDV „Gazije“ within the 5th Corps of the Army of BiH, acting contrary to the provisions of the Geneva Conventions on the protection of prisoners of war and the wounded and sick.

They are accused of, in July 1995, at the location of Ćorkovača hill in the municipality of Bosanska Krupa, personally and directly, by firing firearms, committing the murder of three captured members of the VRS, one of whom was wounded.

The accused are charged with committing the criminal offense of war crimes against prisoners of war under Article 175 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The indictment has been forwarded to the Court of BiH.
