Indictment filed against Muratović and Ajanović: Forced prisoner to say he was a "Chetnik"

The BiH Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment on Wednesday against Asim Muratović and Ćazim Ajanović for a crime against prisoners of war committed in the area of Goražde, BIRN reported, as Patria conveys.

Muratović and Ajanović, former guards at the prison in the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) in Goražde, are accused of beating and mistreating two prisoners of war.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, Muratović, along with two guards known to him, punched and kicked D.V. in the body, who lost consciousness multiple times, and after they poured water on him to revive him, they continued to beat him.

Ajanović is also accused of punching, kicking, and beating prisoner M.M. with batons, along with two guards, forcing him to say he was a "Chetnik".

According to the indictment, D.V. and M.M. suffered severe physical and mental pain.

The indictment has been forwarded to the BiH Court for confirmation, NAP writes.
