Indictment filed against Mlađen Božović

The BiH Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Mlađen Božović (57), who, as Director of the Fund for Return, prevented the tender procedure in accordance with the law through his decisions, thereby illegally appropriating property benefits in the amount of 122 thousand KM, writes Patria.

The Prosecutor's Office states that the accused is charged with violating the Law on Public Procurement during 2009 and 2010 in the procurement of agricultural machinery, specifically motor cultivators for returnees to BiH. By amending the tender documentation, Božović concluded the procurement with a company from Bijeljina, damaging other firms that participated in the tender and thus preventing the normal public procurement procedure.   

He is accused of knowingly violating the law and committing the criminal offense of negligent work in office.   

There are eight witnesses and expert witnesses for this indictment, along with over 30 material pieces of evidence of the committed crime.  
The indictment will be forwarded to the BiH Court.

Božović was previously accused of mobbing and violence against an employed female worker who uncovered criminal activities in the Fund for Return, writes Patria.
