(Patria) - The prosecutor from the Corruption Department of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed an indictment against Stupar Ognjen, born in 1979 in Sanski Most, employed as a unit commander of the Border Police of BiH, Banja Luka airport, a citizen of BiH and the Republic of Serbia.
The accused is charged that, in the period from February 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023, aware of his illegal actions and in order to obtain unlawful property gain, he misled officials in the Border Police of BiH by submitting false data and a fictitious contract, and thus unlawfully obtained compensation for accommodation and separate living in the amount of 10,652.26 KM, thereby damaging the budget of BiH.
The accused is charged that, as an official in the institutions of BiH, with the aim of obtaining unlawful property gain, he misled an authorized person of the Border Police of BiH to make an illegal payment, thereby committing the criminal offense of Fraud in Office under Article 222, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH, which confirmed it.
