(Patria) - The number of employees by employee residence on 31.10.2025 was 547,520. Compared to the end of September, the number of employees increased by 455 people. We remind you, the number of employees on 31.12.2024 was 551,452, and some jobs were lost after the introduction of the non-working Sunday in FBiH from November, and then the number of employees decreased after the increase in the minimum wage from 619 to 1,000 KM.

According to official records, the activities in which the number of employees increased include: extraterritorial organizations and bodies, education, office administrative and support activities and other business support activities, manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment, wholesale and retail trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles and other activities.

Activities in which the number of employees decreased include: public administration and defense, warehousing and auxiliary transport activities, employment placement activities, food and beverage preparation and serving activities, manufacture of clothing and other activities.

According to official records of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, on 31.10.2025, 175,695 employees, or 32.09% of employees, were employed up to 35 years of age, and 371,825, or 67.91% of employees, were employed over 36 years of age. On 31.10.2025, 304,059, or 55.53% of employees, were men and 243,461, or 44.47% of employees, were women.

At the same time, the number of pensioners also grew. In one month, the number of pensioners increased by 634. A total of 462,491 beneficiaries received pensions for October, and the required funds for payment amount to approximately 314.5 million KM.
