"Under the Magnifying Glass": Dead Voters on the List, Vote Buying, Bulgarian Train

The Coalition "Under the Magnifying Glass" collects reports of irregularities during the election process on election day through reports from observers, mobile teams, and citizen reports via a toll-free line or website.

By 3 PM, observers from the Coalition "Under the Magnifying Glass" reported nearly 30 critical situations during election day, which were immediately addressed with the support of cooperation with the Central Election Commission as well as the municipal election commission.

The most frequent reports from the field concern voters being turned away from polling stations and directed to other polling stations, lobbying for votes for specific candidates or parties, and family voting.

Regional offices of the Coalition received over 120 citizen reports, most of which relate to campaigning to voters near polling stations, deceased persons on voter lists, vote buying, distribution of copies of ballots with marked political entities, and other party promotional material around polling stations. At the same time, a large number of citizens are also calling to ask if they can vote with expired documents. For two polling stations, it was reported that they are located in religious buildings. -
