Traffic jams begin at Doljani: BIHAMK urges to avoid risky overtaking

Due to occasional rainfall, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Auto-Moto Club (BIHAMK) warned of wet and slippery roads, especially in the central and northern parts of our country.

- We advise more cautious driving, adapted to current conditions and road conditions. Given that increased vehicle traffic is expected today, we ask truck drivers to briefly pull over when they notice a long line of passenger vehicles behind them, in order to avoid risky overtaking, BIHAMK stated.

Until 1:30 PM, occasional half-hour traffic stoppages occur on the M-6 main road Stolac-Ljubinje.

Due to regular maintenance works on the Jelašje tunnel on the M-17 main road Konjic-Jablanica, vehicles will travel slowly in one lane today from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Due to the holding of the event “507 Days of Ajvatovica” today and tomorrow (July 1 and 2) from 4 PM to 5 PM, traffic will be stopped at the intersection of main roads M-5 and M-16 in Donji Vakuf, from the Post Office building to the BP INA (intersection of 14. septembar and 770 Slbbr. streets).

For the same reason, until tomorrow (July 2) until midnight, the transport of explosive materials is prohibited in the area of the Central Bosnia Canton.

Vehicle traffic is increased at the Doljani border crossing on the exit from our country. At other border crossings, there are currently no longer delays.
