World Economic Forum in Davos Begins

DAVOS, (Patria) - The World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland begins today, where strategies for the future will be discussed and attempts will be made to find answers to current global problems.

Leaders of some of the strongest countries will discuss global issues, such as climate change.

 



Presidents of the USA, France, Russia, and China have previously cancelled their attendance at this forum. US President Donald Trump cancelled his visit to Davos due to the government shutdown over the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico, while his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron is facing issues with the "yellow vest" protests.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu, and others have confirmed their attendance, media report.
