Printing of ballot papers for Local Elections begins

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Printing of ballot papers for the Local Elections in BiH scheduled for 15.11.2020 begins today. Approximately seven (7) million ballot papers will be printed. The printing job worth
805,528.51 KM with VAT was awarded to the company “Unioninvestplastika“ dd Sarajevo. In accordance with the operational plan, ballot papers for voters voting by mail are printed first.

The Central Election Commission (CIK) reminds and invites certified political entities to exercise their right and get accredited to observe this significant segment of the election process.

On the occasion of the start of ballot paper printing, Željko Bakalar, President of the CIK BiH, will give a statement to the media tomorrow at 12:00 PM at the address of the company “Unioninvestplastika“ dd (Semizovac bb, Vogošća), which was awarded the contract for printing ballot papers.

After Bakalar's statement, media representatives will be allowed to tour and photograph the facility where ballot papers are being printed, while observing the instructions they will receive. In addition to their press accreditation, media representatives are required to show their personal identification card at the entrance to the company “Unioninvestplastika“ dd.
