Meeting of the Troika, HDZ and opposition from the RS begins

(Patria) - A meeting has begun in Sarajevo between the Troika from the Federation (Our Party, People and Justice, and SDP), the Troika from the Republika Srpska (SDS, PDP, and the List for Justice and Order), and the HDZ.

All party leaders are attending the meeting, which has been largely kept from the public, and it is unknown whether an agreement will be signed today.

At the same time, HDZ delegate Marina Pendeš submitted a request for amendments to the Election Law regarding the election of members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, leading many to conclude that this is part of the package the HDZ is demanding from the Troika in exchange for removing Milorad Dodik from power.

Today's meeting is expected to appoint a working group to prepare the text of the agreement.

The meeting in Sarajevo is a continuation of talks that began in Kupres on March 22, after the leader of the HDZ of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović, announced that those who undermine state institutions will not receive support, and that the peace, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina must not be jeopardized.
