Meeting of SDA, HDZ and SNSD leaders begins: MAP and Council of Ministers on the agenda

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A meeting of the leaders of the three leading parliamentary parties, SDA, HDZ BiH and SNSD BiH, Bakir Izetbegović, Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik, has begun in Sarajevo.

The topic of the meeting is an attempt to reach an agreement on the formation of the government.

There are two obstacles that the three leaders must jointly resolve. The first is the activation of the MAP, specifically the adoption of the National Annual Plan, necessary for its activation. The second, equally difficult, concerns an agreement on the distribution of ministries in the Council of Ministers.

Things have been further complicated by the DF joining the bloc with the SDA and its demand for a fourth ministerial position, which has led to the negotiations becoming more complex.

According to some announcements, party delegations are expected to join the leaders' meeting.
