Trial of Semir Rastoder Begins

The trial of Semir Rastoder (1989), accused of a serious criminal offense against public traffic safety, namely the accident in which Hava Šljivić-Dovadžija died on April 1, 2014, began today at the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

After the indictment was read, the prosecutor announced that she would call two witnesses, including the victim's husband, Amar Dovadžija, and three experts.

We remind you that on April 1, Rastoder, driving at a speed of 103 km/h from the direction of Ilidža in the Sarajevo settlement of Nedžarići, hit Hava, who died at the scene. Hava is survived by her husband and two daughters.

Rastoder has been at liberty the entire time, and the investigation in this case lasted more than six months.
