Replacement of faulty LED lighting in Sarači and Trgovke streets begins

The replacement of faulty LED lighting in Baščaršija, which began this week, is progressing well and half of the work has already been completed, announced the Municipality of Stari Grad, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As stated by the director of the company „Arcade” d.o.o. Tuzla, Edin Uzeirbegović, about 100 light fixtures have been replaced so far in Sarači.

- In Sarači Street, half of the work has already been completed. The most important thing is that we have discovered the cause of the problem, i.e., why the light fixtures were malfunctioning. The completion of the work will depend on weather conditions, because if it rains or snows, the work cannot be carried out - explains Uzeirbegović.

As part of the project, the dismantling and replacement of 235 existing LED light fixtures in Sarači and Trgovke streets is planned. The work is financed in equal shares by the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo and the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of the Sarajevo Canton. The investment value is 17,871.75 KM.
