Third stage of the March of Peace begins, arrival in Potočari in the late afternoon

(Patria) - Participants of the March of Peace Nezuk - Potočari started their last stage of this year's march from Mravinjaci this morning.

Their arrival in Potočari is expected after 6:00 PM.

Around 6,000 participants are walking a 100 km route for three days, the same route that the people of Srebrenica took in July 1995, seeking free territory. Many were killed on that path, died of hunger and thirst, or were wounded.

This year marks the 20th March of Peace, which gathers participants from all over the world every year. The participants highlight high air temperatures as the only problem, making movement difficult, but medical teams are on constant standby.

In addition to the participants of the March of Peace, cyclists and participants of the moto marathon are also expected in Potočari today.
