FBiH Government Holds Thematic Session

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of BiH will, at today's 214th thematic session, which began in Sarajevo, consider information on the situation in the Federation of BiH and proposals for measures and activities aimed at protecting the population and mitigating the consequences of the global coronavirus pandemic (COVID -19) on the economy in FBiH.

The session was convened by the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, and in addition to the members of the Federal Government, the prime ministers of all ten cantons in the Federation of BiH, as well as the heads of the Employers' Association of FBiH, the Independent Trade Unions of BiH, the Chamber of Commerce of FBiH, the Tax Administration of FBiH, the Federal Police Administration, the Federal Civil Protection Administration, the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs, the Federal Development Programming Institute, the Federal Commodity Reserves Directorate, the Red Cross of FBiH, and the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health were invited.

Otherwise, since the outbreak of the new coronavirus, the Government of the Federation of BiH has continuously taken measures, based on information from the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health, primarily aimed at protecting the health of the population.

Information on the outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the measures and activities undertaken by competent authorities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the health sector in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a Proposal for Conclusions
2. Information on the measures and activities undertaken by the Federal Civil Protection Staff and the Federal Civil Protection Administration related to the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), with a Proposal for Conclusions and a Proposal for a Decision
a) Proposal for a Decision on declaring a disaster caused by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID 19) in the territory of the Federation of BiH
3. Information on the state of goods in the Federal Commodity Reserves Directorate and a proposal for measures and a Proposal for Conclusions
4. Information from the Federal Ministry of Finance, recommendations from the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, and information from the Federal Ministry of Education and Science
5. Proposal for a Decision on prescribing measures for immediate price control
