Session of the BiH House of Representatives begins with 50-minute delay due to new electronic voting equipment

The session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina began after a 50-minute delay due to testing of new electronic voting equipment for deputies, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Thirty-five representatives are present at the session, which is sufficient for the Parliament to work.

Representative Salko Sokolović asked when the Council of Ministers would propose the Law on Emigration and a strategy for relations with the diaspora.

Prime Minister Denis Zvizdić responded, stating that the Council of Ministers has been informed of the need to draft a law on the diaspora.

- The Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees has been tasked with preparing a policy program towards the diaspora in cooperation with other competent institutions. It is underway, and as soon as it is completed, we will forward that policy to the Parliament. Once we receive the goals of the policy on relations with the diaspora, it will be turned into a law - said Zvizdić.
