Training of polling station committee members has begun

Given that activities for the implementation of the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, scheduled for October 12, 2014, are underway, the Municipal Election Commission Centar Sarajevo informs that on September 22, 2014, at 4:30 PM, in the large hall of the Centar Sarajevo Municipality, Miss Irby Street number 1, training began for 900 members of polling station committees, reports Patria.

Training for polling station committee members will be conducted on weekdays in the afternoon, starting at 4:30 PM, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays at multiple times, according to the established schedule.

The Commission assessed that the turnout of invited polling station committee members for the training is satisfactory.

Depending on the further turnout for training and the success of the polling station committee members' testing, the Commission will assess whether additional training sessions for polling station committee members are needed, all with the aim of successfully implementing the General Elections scheduled for October 12, 2014.

After the completion of training and testing of polling station committee members, the Commission will inform the public whether and how many polling station committee members did not meet the prescribed conditions in the test.

The Municipal Election Commission Centar Sarajevo will also inform the Central Election Commission of BiH about these and other activities.
