Construction of amusement park begins in Ilidža settlement Butmir

(Patria) - The construction of the Sports and Recreation Center "Čarli", the renovation of the Central Square and the ongoing works on the reconstruction of the Great Park, which are in the final phase, are confirmation that the Ilidža Municipality is successfully implementing capital projects, and certainly one should not forget the revitalization of the Stojčevac picnic area.

The renovation of old and neglected facilities, as well as the construction of new amenities, from which children and young people will benefit the most, is something that the Ilidža Municipality, with the arrival of Nermin Muzur as mayor, has been paying a lot of attention to.

In addition to the previously mentioned capital projects, children's playgrounds in the settlements of Lužani and Donji Kotorac have been renovated, and another playground has been built in Otes.

Furthermore, the sports field in Rakovica has been renovated, and a Street workout park has complemented the amenities for all athletes and recreational users who use the Great Alley for training and recreation.

In recent years, the youngest residents of the Ilidža settlement Butmir have been deprived of any space intended for play, but this will soon change, given that construction has begun on an amusement park whose design was presented last autumn at the Butmir Cultural Center.

- I believe that the hardworking employees of the Public Enterprise Ilidža will do an excellent job in Butmir, just as they did during the construction of the Sports and Recreation Center "Čarli", which we are all proud of today and where our children enjoy day after day.

I am convinced that we will witness scenes of a packed amusement park in the settlement of Butmir as well, because our plan is Ilidža, a home of good people - said the mayor of Ilidža, Nermin Muzur.
