One-off aid payment to pensioners in FBiH begins

(Patria) - The Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Institute (PIO) announced that today, in accordance with the Decree of the FBiH Government, and with the aim of improving the material status of pensioners, the payment of one-off financial aid to beneficiaries of pensions from the Federal PIO Institute has begun.

"As determined by the Decree, pensioners who were receiving payments on November 12 and are not in mandatory insurance are entitled to receive this aid.

Furthermore, the Decree stipulates that pension beneficiaries, including proportional pensions and beneficiaries abroad, are entitled to an aid amount of KM 100 if their pension amount is less than or equal to the guaranteed pension amount.

Beneficiaries whose pension is higher than the guaranteed amount, but does not exceed KM 1,000, will receive KM 50 in financial aid," announced the Federal PIO Institute.

The FBiH Government has allocated approximately KM 37 million from the FBiH budget for 2024 for the payment of this aid.
