Winning streak continues: Young Dragons defeat Slovakia 73:68

The junior basketball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (U18) defeated the host Slovakia 73:68 in the second round of Eurobasket, with an exciting finish. Although the Slovaks had a slight lead at one point, the Young Dragons managed to pull away, reports the Patria agency. 

At halftime, we had a five-point lead, and in the third quarter, it was a back-and-forth game. We finished with a five-point lead.

The final quarter brought a better performance from the Slovaks, who managed to tie the game five minutes before the end. However, with points from Sikiraš and Čampara, we regained the lead and entered an exciting finish where our juniors prevailed for the final 73:68. The last minute was marked by free throws and timeouts. 

The most efficient player for our team was Sani Čampara with 20 points, Njegoš Sikiraš with 14, while Alikadić had a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. For the Slovaks, the most prolific was Javorsky with 20 points.
