After the announcement of certified election results, a request for a recount can be submitted

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's session adopted decisions on the certification and announcement of the results of early elections for mayors of the municipalities of Srebrenik and Laktaši. The certified results are available to the public on the website of the Central Election Commission of BiH, www.izbori.ba, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Also, as announced by the CEC BiH, within three days from the day of the announcement of the certified election results, requests for a recount of ballots may be submitted. The procedure for submitting a request for a recount is prescribed by the provisions of Article 5.30 of the Election Law of BiH.

PRELIMINARY RESULTS

The Central Election Commission of BiH updates the preliminary results of the General Elections held on Sunday, October 12, 2014, every day at 2:00 PM. In the Main Counting Center in Sarajevo, the sorting and preparation for counting of ballot materials of voters who voted by mail has been completed, and the sorting and preparation for counting of ballot materials of voters who voted in absentia has begun. Preparation for counting of unconfirmed ballots has been carried out, reports NAP.
