Showers and thunderstorms for the next two days, clearing on Sunday

Unstable weather in BiH will continue for the next two days, with clearing expected only on Sunday. For the rest of the day, mostly in the afternoon, rain and showers are expected in most parts of the country, with thunderstorms in some places, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

The air temperature this morning in Bjelašnica was 8 degrees Celsius. The highest amount of precipitation recorded in the past 24 hours was in Livno, 49 mm per square meter, and in Sokolac, 43 mm. 

In the next two days, morning temperatures will range from 9 to 15 degrees, up to 19 in the south, and daily temperatures from 20 to 28 degrees. 

On Sunday, meteorologists predict sunny and hot weather with morning temperatures from 11 to 19 degrees, up to 22 in the south, and daily temperatures from 27 to 34 degrees. 

River levels are rising, but there is no danger of flooding. This morning at 8 AM, the Miljacka river level was 138 cm with a tendency to rise, while the Bosna river in Zenica was 181 cm, reports Patria.

The severe weather that hit BiH yesterday, specifically the areas of Gradačac, Semberija, and Brčko, caused power outages, broke trees, and the hail that fell in Brčko caused material damage to homes and crops.
