Dance performance Sarajevo Tango Fusion delighted the audience

In the packed Sarajevo  club ”Studio 1”, the first Sarajevo Tango Fusion dance performance was held, featuring Brenno Marques & Eva Icikson (Argentina), Laszlo Budai & Andrea Pirity (Hungary), Dejan Stošić & Sanja Štulić (Serbia), as well as the event hosts, dancers Vedran Marčeta, Samra Mlinar Mandić and Valentina Vavra, reports the Patria news agency.

About ten tango numbers were performed, and the popular duo Tarik Mulaomerović and Adnan Pacoli received a big round of applause from the audience for their rendition of the traditional sevdalinka ”Tebi majko misli lete”, arranged in the spirit of tango, accompanied by accordionist Kaća Hadžifejzović and guitarist Jasmir Muratović. 

For all tango lovers, tango dance workshops with guests of the dance performance were also held over the weekend at the Aster dance club, which is the organizer of STF.

Sarajevo Tango Fusion aims to create a new dance platform that does not exist in BiH and to open perspectives for further education of new profiles of experts in the tango dance discipline. Also, this dance event represents the foundation for establishing the Sarajevo Tango Festival, which will gather top dancers from around the world every year.

The dance club ”Aster”, founded in 1986, has been actively creating dance events in BiH since then, and is the creator and implementer of the most famous dance projects such as the Sarajevo Salsa Congress and the Prom Parade.
