Constitutional Court of BiH Plenary Session: January 9 and BiH CEC Decisions on the Agenda

SARAJevo, (Patria) - At a two-day session starting today, the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected to review six requests for constitutionality assessment proposed for resolution in four separate decisions.

As per the agenda, the Constitutional Court is expected to review the Law on the RS Day, and the Request of 12 MPs from the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament for the assessment of the constitutionality of Article 395, Paragraph 1 of the Law on Civil Procedure of Republika Srpska and Article 395 of the Law on Civil Procedure of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Also on the agenda is the Request of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the assessment of the compatibility of the Instruction on Amendments and Additions to the Instruction on the Procedure for Implementing Indirect Elections for Public Authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina covered by the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, adopted by the Central Election Commission of BiH on December 18, 2018, as well as the Request of Borjana Krišto, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, for the assessment of the constitutionality of the Instruction on Amendments and Additions to the Instruction on the Procedure for Implementing Indirect Elections for Public Authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina covered by the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 The Constitutional Court of BiH is expected to adopt the annual report on its work for 2018 and the Report on the execution of the budget of the Constitutional Court of BiH for 2018.
