Platform for Progress: Vukoja was chosen by those willing to do anything for power

(Patria) - Platform for Progress has already spoken several times regarding the appointment of Marin Vukoja as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We pointed out the similarity in the method of staffing with the previous government, emphasized the political orientation and lack of qualifications of the said candidate in relation to the competencies of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, spoke about the importance of the independence of the judiciary from political games…

"Regardless of the pressure from the entire public in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marin Vukoja was appointed last night as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina without a single day of judicial experience.

Nevertheless, Platform for Progress points out that the case of Marin Vukoja is only the result of a method of work that was started by the previous government and continued by the current government. The only change we got is in the faces that took the seats, equally devoid of ideas, knowledge and substance, ready to do anything for personal gain.

We hope that citizens will not forget the hypocrisy of those from the ruling parties, who at the last minute, through populist and insignificant actions such as empty statements or leaving the Commission for Elections and Appointments (while ceding that position to other party colleagues who will support the proposal), tried to 'wash' themselves of blame for this disgrace and curry favor with the outraged public.

We must not forget the arrogance of one of the ministers and representatives of the ruling coalition, who through spin and attacks on dissidents equated opposition to Vukoja's appointment with Dodik's anti-state views, proving once again that we are witnessing the birth of a new autocrat who underestimates citizens and insults our intelligence.

We have no choice but to live with this decision for the next 19 years, watching the creation of new divisions and the continued collapse of the judicial system in the country," stated the Platform for Progress.
