"On March 11, 2020, according to a pre-arranged obligation, I performed in the musical part of the program as part of the celebration of the jubilee of the company 'Igman' in Konjic. After learning on Monday, March 16, 2020, confirmed information that a person from Serbia who attended the same event tested positive for coronavirus, I immediately reported to the crisis headquarters and other competent institutions. Of course, I immediately entered self-isolation in my parents' apartment in Konjic, where I am currently located with them. Testing for the virus was done on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, and today I received the results, which are unfortunately positive for coronavirus. I currently feel well, without any symptoms indicating Covid-19 disease," Buturović shared on Facebook.

The singer thanked everyone who is constantly sending him messages of support and apologized for not being able to respond to everyone personally.

"I have no doubt that we will win this battle together. Finally, a message for the media who are interested in my condition, for which I am deeply grateful, this is my official statement and I ask you to accept that I will not be able to give the same answer to everyone individually. Thank you all again for your understanding and support," wrote Buturović.
