Pjanić officially presented as a Barcelona player

BARCELONA, (Patria) - Miralem Pjanić officially signed his contract today and was presented as Barcelona's new footballer. Pjanić arrived at the Nou Camp accompanied by Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu, and after signing the contract, he toured the iconic stadium and posed for photos with the jersey number 8.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international signed a four-year contract with the Catalans, with a release clause of 400 million euros.

Pjanić chose to wear the number 8 jersey, previously worn by the legendary Andres Iniesta, and will become one of the few players to have played with both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

"Thank you for the welcome. Playing here has always made me proud, since I was a child. I always dreamed of playing for Barcelona one day. Being part of this club is something incredible. I am grateful for everything that has happened to me in my career and life, and now I am in the best club in the world. This is a very important phase in my career," said Pjanić and continued:

"Walking through the locker room, through the tunnel leading to the pitch, I felt all the history of the club and what it means. It is an honor for me to share the locker room with great champions," said the BiH international.

Juventus will receive a total of 65 million euros from Barcelona. Specifically, they will receive 60 million and an additional five through bonuses.
