Pivić: Regional roads passable, communication on local and uncategorized roads hindered

(Patria) - Prime Minister Nezir Pivić called on the authorities of municipalities and cities in ZDK, where local and uncategorized roads are impassable, to engage additional machinery and personnel to normalize traffic and the lives of citizens.

- All regional roads under the jurisdiction of ZDK are passable, while communication on local and uncategorized roads in cities and municipalities is occasionally hindered.

From the relevant Ministry of Transport and the Cantonal Civil Protection Administration, we received confirmation that contractors maintaining regional roads have managed to ensure passability and normal communication, given that snow is still falling.

Communication is hindered in hilly areas, especially on local and uncategorized roads, so we appeal to the authorities of cities and municipalities where we have hindered communication to engage additional machinery and personnel to ensure normal communication.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports issued an instruction today for school management to make decisions on the method of conducting classes, taking into account exclusively the interests of students.

Classes in all schools in Tešanj have been conducted online since yesterday, and all schools in Zenica will switch to online classes starting tomorrow.

We believe that the situation will be normalized very soon in all municipalities. We are making maximum efforts to maintain the passability of roads under cantonal jurisdiction, so I hope that students will soon return to their school desks - said the Prime Minister of ZDK, Nezir Pivić.
