Pivić: Islamic Community in BiH has full support of the Government I lead

(Patria) - A delegation of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDC), led by Prime Minister Nezir Pivić and Assembly Speaker Ćazim Huskić, and including Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Mirza Mušija and Minister of Economy Samir Šibonjić, attended the opening ceremony of the newly built mosque in Nemila near Zenica.

In his address to the dignitaries and guests, among whom were the Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in BiH Husein-ef. Kavazović, the Mufti of Zenica hfz. prof. dr. Mevludin-ef. Dizdarević, the Chief Imam of the Islamic Community Council Zenica Sumedin-ef. Kobilica, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, and a large number of believers from all over BiH, Prime Minister Pivić expressed special gratitude to the congregation and its leaders who, a little over four years ago, dared to start building the mosque, into which about 1.65 million KM was invested, with the largest portion of funds provided by waqifs from Nemila.

The ZDC Government also provided part of the funds for the construction of the mosque, which, as Prime Minister Pivić said, is a clear and concrete message from this government that it supports projects of social importance and that it is ready to support such projects in all local communities in ZDC.

- From this place, I want to reiterate that the Islamic Community in BiH has the full support of the Government I lead, because the Islamic Community is a spiritual and educational authority that gathers us and is in that sense particularly important for our children and youth.

And our obligation as a government is to create an environment in which citizens will have quality living conditions - conditions worthy of a human being. This is a chain in which every link has its function, which is strong and difficult to break - said the Prime Minister of ZDC.
