"Pionirska dolina" open from 8 AM to 7 PM during May Day holidays

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Citizens who have not yet decided where to spend their free time and enjoy numerous facilities, relax in a natural environment, allow their little ones to play safely on children's play and entertainment equipment and numerous playgrounds, and enjoy visiting hundreds of animals in the zoo, can certainly come to RZC "Pionirska dolina" and the zoo.

Namely, during the May Day holidays, the popular Sarajevo zoo will operate according to the usual schedule on both May 1st and 2nd, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Although meteorologists are forecasting cool weather and cloudiness, "Pionirska dolina" is indeed a beautiful natural and well-maintained environment that can complement free time with its facilities, especially for children and young people.

It is also a convenience that "Pionirska dolina" and the zoo can be reached by public transport, as well as the fact that a purchased ticket to this green oasis is valid for the whole day, so for very affordable prices you can spend a very fulfilling, and even educational, Labour Day, as announced by KJKP Park.

The Sarajevo zoo is home to 53 animal species from all over the world, i.e., over 530 animals, and besides exotic animals, the most attractive of which are the seven-year-old tigress Nina, a lion, and two lionesses, there are also numerous new arrivals - baby animals born a few days ago in "Pionirska dolina".

Baby lemurs from Madagascar, eland antelopes, llamas, pygmy goats, and many others will welcome you in the first days of May.

"Pionirska dolina" will be enriched with new animal species and other facilities during May, so plan your visit to this green oasis even after the May Day holidays. In May, "Pionirska dolina" will also be a favorite destination for numerous school excursions, i.e., elementary school students from all over our country, and in the last ten days of April alone, the Sarajevo zoo, in addition to other visitors, was visited by about 250 students from Travnik, Srebrenik, Zenica, Klokotnica, and Teočak. 

Admission for children under five years of age to "Pionirska dolina" is free, a child's ticket for children aged five to 15 costs 2.50 KM, and for adults, i.e., those over 15 years old, it costs three KM.
