Pionirska dolina full of visitors

Pionirska dolina was full of visitors today, with many taking advantage of the midday sun rays for a walk with children and a tour of the only zoo in Sarajevo, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

In Pionirska dolina, preparations for the animals for winter have already begun, and their accommodation is being adapted to outdoor conditions.

Pionirska dolina is open 365 days a year, with working hours adjusted to the seasons. Visitors have at their disposal walks through nature, entertainment, and recreation on modern equipment for children and adults (go-kart track, electric cars, a train, a rubber castle, cars, a carousel), children's playgrounds with slides, swings, and seesaws.

Visitors can see various animals such as zebras, Scottish cattle, deer and roe deer, brown bears, as well as llamas, kangaroos, porcupines, peacocks, raccoons, monkeys...
