(Patria) - Due to the expiration of the mandate of prim. doc. dr. sci. med. Alen Pilav, acting General Director of KCUS, the Provisional Board of Directors of KCUS appointed prof. dr. Hajrija Maksić as the new acting General Director at its 11th regular session.
The saga of appointing a new director of KCUS has been ongoing since the end of last year.
At the end of December, the Provisional Board of Directors of KCUS appointed Ismet Gavrankapetanović as director after the tender procedure was completed, but the Federal Minister of Health, Nediljko Rimac, did not give his consent.
The ordeal is still ongoing, and it is not yet known whether the tender will ultimately be annulled.
