PIC meets in Sarajevo: Politics and elections in BiH main topics

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Political directors of the member countries of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) Steering Board will meet in Sarajevo on Tuesday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 6, to consider the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On Tuesday, the Peace Implementation Council Steering Board will discuss electoral issues in view of this year's general elections. In this regard, representatives of the Central Election Commission of BiH will brief the political directors on preparations for the October elections.

On Wednesday, the political directors will discuss the overall situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the current challenges facing the country.

On Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., a press conference will be held by High Representative Valentin Inzko and First Deputy High Representative Dennis Hearne following the conclusion of the PIC Steering Board meeting at the OHR building.
