Fifth Season: Mahaluša Invites You to New Gatherings

The biggest theatrical hit in the last ten years in BiH, a comedy of comedies, the cabaret Ja, mahaluša, which has been on stage for five years, is once again in front of the Sarajevo audience after the summer break. And that on Thursday, October 15th at 8 PM, reports the news agency Patria.

The incomparable Nela Đenisijević has performed her Mahaluša over 160 times, leaving everyone breathless from here to Australia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Austria, Croatia, and beyond... Created based on the bestseller by author Indira Kučuk Sorguč and the first major independent professional production FILTER, this comedy remains and endures as a miracle of success in a country where everything stagnates.

"Ja, mahaluša" is an irreplaceable comedy that, even after four years of performance, delights, enriches, entertains, and sweeps audiences off their feet. It has united all generations, various professions, and statuses, because, among other things, it does not divide the audience by title, knowledge, or education, but is open to anyone who is ready to have fun and at the same time fully open their eyes to what is happening within us and around us.

For this comedy about male-female relationships, tickets are always in high demand because it offers original entertainment through unique Bosnian humor, witty text, and a well-thought-out selection of music and dance numbers.

"Ja, mahaluša" is a cult comedy that leaves no one indifferent because it deals with everyday phenomena (sponsorship, whom to marry, menopause, infidelity, henpecked husbands, one-night stands, and virginity) in a comical way. The play stars the fabulous Nela and her partner Nenad Tešić, who delights in the role of a flustered Bosnian man, and the Cabaret Ensemble, who captivate with their voices, appearance, and musical-stage and dance skills.
