Five BiH Parliament deputies in race for member of the BiH Presidency

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At the General Elections in October this year, five deputies from the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina are in the race for a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After Diana Zelenika (HDZ 1990) officially announced her candidacy for the Croatian member of the Presidency, she joined the group of other fellow deputies of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly who are candidates for a member of the BiH Presidency. Thus, alongside Zelenika, Denis Bećirović (SDP), Željko Komšić (DF), Senad Šepić (NB) and Šefik Džaferović (SDA) will also enter the race.

If Fahrudin Radončić, a delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, also confirms his candidacy, there will be a total of six candidates from the BiH Parliament.

HDZ BiH has not yet officially announced the name of its candidate. However, as in previous elections, it should be the party's president, Dragan Čović. For the first time, Naša stranka also has a candidate. Boriša Falatar - an economist with international experience.

The People's Party for Work and Betterment has nominated Jerko Ivanković Lijanović.

The current member of the BiH Presidency from the Serbian people, Mladen Ivanić, on behalf of the Alliance for Changes, will again fight for the same position in October, and his opponent is Milorad Dodik (SNSD).
