Five victims' associations called for the adoption of the Srebrenica Resolution: Be on the side of humanity

(Patria) - The Association of the Movement "Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves", the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide, the Association "Žena Podrinja", the Association of Srebrenica Mothers, and the Association of Women of Srebrenica sent a letter to the embassies of UN member states calling for a vote for the resolution "International Day of Reflection and Commemoration of the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide".

"Following the agreed text of the resolution "International Day of Reflection and Commemoration of the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide" and the set date of May 23, 2024, at 10 AM when the resolution will officially be on the agenda, we call on all UN member states to cast their vote for truth, justice, and reconciliation.

The resolution is a debt to the victims and satisfaction for the mothers for the pain they have carried for almost 30 years.

The resolution is also a roadmap for the future so that Srebrenica is never repeated, to anyone.

Dear Sir/Madam, be on the side of humanity and support the resolution," the letter states.
