Five new cases of coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina

From the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska today at 11:45 AM, laboratory analysis of samples at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska revealed new coronavirus confirmed in five more people in Republika Srpska, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of RS announced.

"These are younger female individuals, in close contact with a previously confirmed case, who had close contact with a person confirmed to have the novel coronavirus in Croatia. They are feeling well, two individuals are in isolation at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, and three individuals are in home isolation. Doctors from the Hygiene-Epidemiological Service of the Banja Luka Health Center will monitor their health status," it was announced. 

Thus, seven new cases of infection with the novel coronavirus have been confirmed.

"Currently, 15 people in Republika Srpska are infected with the novel coronavirus. Four people confirmed to have the novel coronavirus are at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, while 11 people are in home isolation. All patients are feeling well and none are in critical condition," the ministry stated.

Currently, 571 people in RS are under health supervision, who have traveled from areas affected by the virus (SARS-CoV-2), and supervision has been completed for 147 people.
