The Council of Ministers of BiH at today's session established the Proposal for a Framework Loan Agreement between the Council of Europe Development Bank and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) LD 1836 (2014) – a loan for the social housing programme in BiH, in the Republika Srpska, implemented by the IRB of Republika Srpska, with the basis for its conclusion, reports the Patria news agency.
The loan, worth five million euros, will be used to provide financial assistance in resolving housing issues for groups of special importance for Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. Republika Srpska, primarily young and highly educated people.
In this way, young and highly educated citizens in Republika Srpska will be facilitated in acquiring ownership through loans, which will contribute to improving living conditions and encouraging young people to start families, as well as highly educated individuals and couples to stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Ministry of Finance and Treasury will submit the Proposal for the Framework Agreement with the basis for its conclusion to the Presidency of BiH for further procedure, and Minister Vjekoslav Bevanda has been proposed as the signatory, announced the Council of Ministers of BiH.
